I want to learn how to make digital scrapbooks, but I have no idea where to begin. Nobody I know does digital scrapbooking so I don’t really have anyone to ask how to. Are there good websites that will allow you to make a digital scrapbook page and print it from home? Where is the best place to start?
Try CropMom.com. It’s an online scrapbooking site that allows you to use your photos and any of CropMom’s thousands of digital scrapbooking graphics to create a layout. CropMom was created by a digital scrapbook kit designer, so the graphics available at CropMom are the same ones sold as “kits” to digital scrapbookers. CropMom allows you to make a layout using its online software for free if you register (which is also free). You can add your own text on your layout in the CropMom scrapbook creator.
CropMom allows you to download a low-resolution digital file of your layout for free for posting on your blog or emailing to friends. It has the CropMom logo in the lower-right corner. But since most digital scrapbookers print their work, CropMom allows you to purchase the high-resolution JPEG file (it comes without the CropMom logo) for printing anywhere you’d like.
CropMom is easier and less expensive than purchasing the graphics software that’s used by digital scrapbookers. In addition, with CropMom, there are no “kits” to purchase. With CropMom, you can learn how to digiscrap without the expense or steep learning curve.
