My wife is looking to buy a good photo editing software. Something you can create cool collage pictures and what not. But very user friendly. Any suggestions?

A very good Photo-Editing software available is Adobe PhotoShop, but only a 30-day trial for PhotoShop is available for free. To try it out go to http://www.adobe.com/downloads

A free alternative to PhotoShop is GIMP. While it is as powerful as PhotoShop, it’s a bit harder to use. If you can’t get your head around it, check some tutorials on YouTube:

Hope that helps.

  1. Thomas Y Said,

    Try Photoshop or GIMP.
If you want something easier, try HP Imageplus.

  4. DUNBAR PAPPY Said,

Start off with a terrific freeware item from Google, called ‘Picasa’.
This will do many, many things and will get her use to working with pic’s, saving them, file work and so on.
After using this for a while, she can try one of the premium app’s to have a better understanding of what she likes and dislike about it without having to plunge in blindly.
